ITE Hearing Aids

ITE Hearing Aids

In The Ear types of hearing aid sit closely in the bowl of the ear. Since this part of the ear is different in everyone, the plastic casing is moulded to your ear for complete comfort. While the hearing aid speaker faces directly in to the ear canal and does not involve a thin tube, it still remains in the outer ear and does not actually fit inside the canal itself. This may make the ITE type a desirable compromise for those who want something more discreet, but may want to avoid smaller in-canal types.
